About Shayla Cannady

Shayla Cannady is the Senior Manager of Public Relations for Orange County Public Schools, the fourth largest school district in Florida and eighth largest in the nation. Shayla is responsible for maintaining the district’s brand identity; implementing strategic communications plans; and events to increase internal and external knowledge, awareness and appreciation of the district and school operations. She is president of the Sunshine State Public Relations Association, a member of the National School Public Relations Association Equity Taskforce and among the 2018-19 NSPRA 35 Under 35 recipients.
